HE MADE A PIT AND HAS FALLEN INTO THE DITCH WHICH HE MADE

Eric looked at me, “We’re running out of copper paint.” I said, “Okay, I’ll make some.” It would take some time so I immediately started up on the mixing process. Meanwhile he went out into the other part of the warehouse where we were painting a 5-step faux finish to make metal panels look like wood. Eric ignored the other workers and began on a section of panels he could call his own. I had no idea he was planning my demise and digging a pit for my downfall.

When I got back to the panels I could tell Eric had rushed through the steps to get as many panels done as possible. The room was three quarters full of panels he’d completed. He was so proud of the production—completing way more than my partner and I did, especially with me having to mix more paint. Then it hit me what he was really up to.

This guy Eric was what the Bible calls a “son of Belial, “a worker of iniquity.” He was looking for more power in the company and it didn’t matter who he had to step on to get there. He was not a team player but did things his own way and tried to get others to follow, though he was never given that authority. I knew the demons had already told him about me, because he targeted me and tried to get me talking about obscure and distasteful things. But I knew 2 Samuel 23:6-7, “The sons of Belial cannot be taken with hands: But the man that shall touch them must be fenced [filled] with iron and the staff of a spear.” In other words, I knew I had to stay away from him and start using the scriptures against is plans.

There were three of us who were above him in the chain of command and he didn’t like it at all. He wanted to be running the job and definitely wanted me out of the way. He brought discord into the group and everyone was uneasy with him around. He was always scheming and critical of everyone. He would wander around the warehouse and offices and act like he was special. We never quite knew what he was up to but we had the weird feeling that he was spying on us and spewing lies about us to the higher boss. His bad-mouthing had already caused more than one person to lose his job and another to be fired and these people were my friends. It was horrible. I had to do something powerful.

I began to come to work early and park in a remote spot, where I’d get out my verses—those psalms of David that are specific weapons (spears) against people like this. After looking over the verses, I was led by the Holy Spirit to use three in particular and I prayed them out loud with conviction.

“Set a wicked man over him and let an accuser stand at his right hand. When he is judged, let him be found guilty and let his prayer become sin. Let his days be few, and let another take his office. Let strangers plunder his labor. Let there be none to extend mercy to him” (Ps 109: 6-13).

“Break their teeth in their mouth, O God! Break out the fangs of the young lions, O Lord! Let them flow away as waters which run continually; when he bends his bow, Let his arrows be as if cut in pieces. Let them be like a snail which melts away as it goes, like a stillborn child of a woman, that they may not see the sun” (Ps 58:6-8).

And my favorite in this situation, “He made a pit and dug it out and has fallen into the ditch which he made. His trouble shall return upon his own head and his violent dealing shall come down on his own crown” (Psalm 7: 15-16).

I prayed others too, but these were the main ones. I prayed these every day before work.

This guy was NOT GOOD for any of us there. By the grace of God, I knew what to do and I did it.

Back to my story of that one faithful day: This SOB sent me to mix paint so that my production would be low. Then he sped up and finished multiple panels. His plan was to show how inferior I was and how great he was. But God had something else in mind.

The big boss came in and started looking at the pieces. He was horrified. He called me and another lead person over and started handing us the panels, “This one has to be done over. This one too, and this one and this one!” By the time he’d finished, there were 40-plus panels that had to be re-done. And you guessed it... all of the rejects but 2 were the ones Eric did!

His plan failed miserably. He’d gotten me out of the way so he could show off for the boss and instead of being rewarded, he was humiliated. It was so bad that the boss sent him out of town on a different job for a week. I was thinking, “I wouldn’t be surprised if he never comes back.”

What actually happened is that he did come back—for only one day. He was in street clothes and he resigned! I found out later that God got him so far out of the way, that he ended up in a job half way around the world!

“He made a pit [for Carolyn] and dug it out, and has fallen into the ditch which he made.”

WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT SONS OF BELIAL AT WORK?

What can we do about those who are sold out to Satan? First of all we have to realize we’re dealing with someone with a goal. They are dedicated and diligent in going after that goal, whether it’s fame, money or power. They’ve made a contract with the devil, to obey and serve him in exchange for the prize they so desire. You are not dealing with a buck private here, but a five-star general.

David in the Bible dealt with these very committed evil people all his life and when he was about to die he gave specific instructions to his children regarding them. According to 2 Samuel 23:1, “These be the last words of David.” Verse 6, “The sons of Belial shall be all of them as thorns thrust away because they cannot be taken with hands.” This statement is vitally important and the first thing we have to get straight when it comes to dealing with those who are sons of Satan: You CAN NOT make the mistake of getting too close to these people. The closer you get to them, the more dangerous they are to you.

They are so connected to demons in the evil spiritual realm, they will instantly recognize the Christ in you and begin to target you. You can’t fight demons by being clever or smart on a physical level—you will lose. David tells us in verse 7, “the man that shall [absolutely] touch them must [imperative] be filled with iron [full of the strength of the Lord] and the staff of a spear.”

Envision yourself holding the “staff of a spear.” There’s distance between you and the enemy. Rather than being close enough to put a hand on them, you need the distance of the spear between you. Sometimes that distance is physical.

Say, for instance, the company you work for is run by Sons of Belial (they are sometimes called this in the Bible), stay as far away as possible. If you believe Jesus wants you there, stay under the radar, keeping a low profile while you do what you need to and learn what you need to learn. If you become too noticeable to them they will come after you in some way or other. Remember, they are following the lead of Satan, whose mission is to “steal, kill and destroy” (John 10:10) anything and anyone that God loves.

If there comes a point where you can’t do your anointing and can’t be who you really are, it’s time to get out. I know it’s probably not what you want to hear, but it’s true. Don’t try to be a martyr and think you can tough it out or that you can be the one who will change the whole company. If SOBs are in authority, most often the best thing to do is walk away. You can do a lot more after you’re gone than if you stay. They’ll beat you down until they can get you fired or you have to quit because your physical or mental health is so bad. If you stay too long, it may take a much longer time to recover your true self.

I can’t reiterate enough: These people are disciplined and dedicated, more so than most Christians you know. They are in direct communication with the devil. Because they know him, and he knows you, Satan gives these people instruction on how to get to you in ways you could never imagine or prove in a courtroom.

I’ve seen these SOBs weaken good Christian people to the point of suicide, heart attacks, mental disorders and very long and tough recovery periods. It’s awful. So if you’re in a no-win situation, be willing to let go. Walk away. Ask for the Lord’s wisdom and when He says, “Go,” RUN!

Jesus told his disciples, “And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, it shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city” (Mk 6:11). These are strong words!

Jesus had several times when He had to walk away too. Matt 12:14-15 is just one example, “Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him. But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all.” You see? Jesus got out of there fast, and immediately he got great results and was back healing and doing wonderful things for the people.

The problem with most of us Christians is that we often stay in a bad situation too long. We’re way too religious about thinking we can handle it. The Lord is coming back soon. There’s no time to tough it out. God has much more for you to do in these last days – exciting things, wonderful things.

If you are not in a situation where SOBs are already in top positions, they may be invited into your space. The thing is you may not recognize them at first because, like the tares among the wheat, they look the same as normal people at first. It seems unfair that you should have to be the one to leave since you were there first, but again, you have to pray and God will tell you what’s best. Be willing to really hear and act on what He says.

David in the Bible was harassed by followers of Satan coming at him from every angle. He told his children SOBs could only be held off and destroyed by you being filled with the strength of God, not by hands (clever physical means), but with the “shaft of the spear.” The Word of God is that spear. The following are some of the “spear” verses you can use against SOBs whether in their company or out. These verses work. I suggest that you carefully read them over and choose the ones that you can relate to in your own situations. You will not only be able to see results for yourself, but in using these spears, you will be able to help others who have fallen prey to the SOBs.

Please take the time to read and use these SOB verses:

“He made a pit and dug it out, and has fallen into the ditch which he made. His trouble shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down on his own crown” (Psalm 7:11-16).

“Let those be put to shame and brought to dishonor…. Let them be like chaff before the wind, and let the angel of the Lord chase them. Let their way be dark and slippery, and let the angel of the Lord pursue them” (Psalm 35:4-6).

“Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see; and make their loins shake continually” (Psalm 69:23).

“Their sword shall enter their own heart, and their bows shall be broken” (Psalm 37:12-15).

“Break their teeth in their mouth, O God! Break out the fangs of the young lions, O Lord! Let them flow away as waters which run continually; when he bends his bow, Let his arrows be as if cut in pieces. Let them be like a snail which melts away as it goes. Like a stillborn child of a woman, that they may not see the sun” (Psalm 58:6-8)

“Set a wicked man over him [SOB], and let an accuser stand at his right hand. When he is judged, let him be found guilty, and let his prayer become sin. Let his days be few, and let another take his office…. Let the creditor seize all that he has, and let strangers plunder his labor. Let there be none to extend mercy to him” (Psalm 109:6-12).

“God shall likewise destroy you [SOBs] forever. He shall take you away, and pluck you out of your dwelling place, and uproot you from the land of the living. Selah” (Psalm 52:5).

“Let death seize them; Let them go down alive into hell, for wickedness is in their dwellings and among them” (Psalm 55:15).

A powerful verse in Psalm 149:9 tells us, “To execute on them (SOBs) the written judgement [the above scriptures and many more that are found in the Psalms]—this honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord!”

In my next article, I’ll give you a true story of how an SOB came into my realm and how, after using some of these verses, the Lord worked in me to get rid of the guy. It’s always about God energizing the work. He’s the one who gives us the tremendous strength, wisdom and knowledge to be able to help each other to stay on top and live victoriously in the world today.

EVIL PEOPLE IN THE WORKPLACE - WHO ARE THEY?

Too many of my friends have been fired, pushed out of their jobs or are being oppressed right now by evil people in positions of authority. These domineering people are willing to literally sell their souls to Satan for the money and power they receive. Many are bullies and rule by fear. They thrill at the feeling of power they get when they can control and rule over other human beings.

It’s sad, but true.  And anyone who has been under a person like this knows how horrific it really is. These bullies rip the joy right out of you and leave you so exhausted at the end of the day that you have no energy left. They suck the life out of you. And they care nothing about you, except what you can do for them.

If you’re a giving person and full of life, they will make it so that you have no one to give to. They steal your anointing away from you and make you feel useless, worn out, flat-lined and you might not even know why. But I’m going to tell you why. The answers are all in God’s Word.

The Bible calls these powerful people “sons of Belial” or “workers of iniquity.” They willfully serve Satan. Mostly they won’t come right out and tell you that. Only recently have some of the  boldest musical artists admitted and proclaimed the actual rite of selling their souls to Satan, the blood sacrifice ritual involved and the signed contracts that normally last about 10 years, as far as we know.

Although we haven’t heard much about them in church, more and more Christians are becoming aware of their presence and learning what to do about them. The devil has manipulated and fed into people’s ego throughout history to manipulate and oppress others. They especially like to rule over Christians. In the work place these SOBs (sons of Belial) love to have Christians work for them because generally Christians are good workers, on time, detail-minded and loyal. The SOB’s use this to their own advantage.

When you become aware of their motives and methods either through experience or studying it in the Word of God, or preferably both, you will never NOT recognize them again.

So in this article I want to expose some more prominent aspects of their character so that you will be more apt to recognize who they are and what they do.

They are “merchandisers of men” (2 Pet 2:3). They gather and use good-hearted workers as stock items to carry out their deeds. They really don’t care about the individual, only what that person can do for them. They abuse workers in sneaky ways: requiring more tasks than what’s reasonable, extra hours without pay, “mandatory” social events, etc. Since they love to prey on Christians they will often use the guilt trip as a technique to get what they want.

When they want what you have, they’ll send someone to sidle up to you and try to learn or extract skills from you, only to get rid of you and give the job to one of their SOBs-in-training.
Often they are not the spokesperson, but the one behind the scenes, calling the punches. They desire to be applauded and put on a pedestal for all their good charitable works; but behind the scenes they are out to take down anyone they perceive as being in their way. They speak peace and work wickedness at the same time, speaking out of both sides of their mouths. They are extremely sneaky and try to befriend and snare people with their smooth words. They are never to be trusted.

Proverbs 6:17-18 tells us, they have “a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren.”

These are just some of the general characteristics of these sons of Belial. Psalm 7:11 says, “God is angry with the wicked [SOBs] every day.”

In my next article we’ll learn from King David how to escape from, avoid, attack and bring down the spiritual bullies that unfortunately embody some of the people around us. God gave David an entire arsenal of specific weapons that we’ll read about and talk about next time.

Love, Carolyn

THE STARS SPEAK

The human soul yearns to know the truth.

I could hear the hippos snorting in the river below as I looked to the great expanse of dark sky at the horizon and could see the large constellations Scorpio and the Southern Cross—brilliant, stunning like I’d never seen before! Pilanesberg, South Africa.

I’ve always been drawn to the sky ever since our family camping trips where we’d huddle around the last embers of the campfire and look up to see the stars. Sometimes we’d sleep out on the ground in our sleeping bags just to watch the sky until we fell asleep.

When I became a Christian I used to wonder how people before there was writing or people living in isolated cultures would be able to hear about Jesus if there wasn’t anyone around to teach them. Then one day someone taught me that the whole history of the universe is written in the stars. All anyone needed to do was look up!

The phenomenal thing is that the same message of the stars was across all ancient cultures. As far away as China is from Egypt, both cultures interpreted the constellations in the same way. The names for the constellations, the numbering of the stars within them and the names of the individual stars had the same meaning across all the ancient cultures. The Chinese, Chaldean and Egyptian recordings go back more than 2000 years B.C.

Of course over time, the stories got corrupted, but the original meanings remained. God’s plans, purposes, and promises were written in the sky before they were ever spoken or written down. And remember that before all the big cities and indoor living, people were either nomadic or if they lived in cities, much activity took place outside or on the roofs, so watching the heavens was a big part of their lives.

Joseph in Egypt and Daniel in Babylonia taught people how to read and interpret the stars the way God put them there. Psalm 147:4 says: “He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.” There are references to the constellations and their messages throughout the Bible. They tell the story of Jesus, from before his birth to His life on earth, to His coming back in glory. That’s how the Magi knew to go to Bethlehem to find Jesus. They were taught how to read the heavens from their ancestors.

I learned the most about the true meaning of the constellations from a wonderful book by E.W. Bullinger called WITNESS OF THE STARS. Also there are some awesome works on-line at www.lcmi.org .

There are twelve zodiac signs. Between each zodiac sign, there may be several smaller constellations. Each constellation tells a part of the story of God's plan. For example, Virgo (the virgin) is a woman holding a branch. The brightest star in Virgo is Al Zimach, meaning “the branch.” The branch in the Bible is Jesus the Messiah. Zechariah prophesied: “Behold I will bring forth my servant the branch” (Zech 3:8). And, “Behold the man whose name is the branch” (Zech 6:12).

Another star in Virgo is Zavijaveh, (I pronounce it java java). It means “the gloriously beautiful.” It’s in Isaiah 4:2: “The Branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious.” In Virgo’s arm is a star whose name means “he shall come down and shall have dominion.” When the ancient people looked up at the constellation Virgo, they understood that there was going to be a promised branch of God who would be born of a virgin and come down on earth to have dominion.

The Egyptians recorded the zodiac in a circle on the ceiling of the Temple Esneh. You wouldn’t necessarily know where to begin and where to end except that the figure of a sphinx connects the two signs of Virgo and Leo. The word “sphinx” means to bind closely together. The sphinx has the head of a woman and the body of a lion. The story of Jesus’ birth on earth begins with a virgin and ends with the King of Kings, the Lion of God.

The constellations are rich with meaning. And no man can change their placement or their true meanings.

Psalm 19:1-6 says: “The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard. Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world.”

In all the turmoil of the world today, it’s great to have the assurance of heaven. When all else is dark, the glorious stars show brightest and their message is everlasting: Jesus Christ is the Messiah and the message of the ages.

AN EXCITING EDGE TO PRAYING THE SCRIPTURES

I was reading the introduction to Scripture Keys for Kingdom Living and found a new three-fold way to pray the scriptures. It was Step 2 that really set the firecrackers off in my soul.

Step 1: Find the scripture that speaks to your heart regarding the issue you’re praying for. Thank God for whatever the scripture says. Even if you start off pleading with Him (like we all do at times), it’s important to get to the place you’re thanking Him, rather than begging Him.

Step 2 **EXCITING EXCITING**: Say the scripture to the devil, prefacing it with, “It is written!” This is what our Lord Jesus used as His weapon against Satan in the wilderness, and the devil had to back off. This is a way to aggressively move forward with prayer.

God stands behind His Word. The Almighty God calls it a sword and buckler (Eph 6:17 and Ps 91:4). A sword is an assertive hostile weapon. Generally we think of a buckler as an implement that will shield us. That’s true, but it also has projections on the front to pierce and injure any enemy. We push Satan back with the sword and buckler. Jesus said, “It is written” to directly confront the devil and we can too. The written Word of God is a signed contract telling us what is ours and what is true. We need to remind the devil that what God has written, he can’t stop.

Step 3: Say the scripture to yourself, prefacing it with, “I believe.”

Using this three-fold way of praying will strengthen your prayer life and affect the answers you’re seeking.

PRAYING MANTIS WINGS AND OUR SECRET WEAPONS

I looked out onto the patio and saw something strange going on. My cat, Snowy, was slowly backing up, ears flattened against his head and shackles up. His teeth were snarling and he was hissing. Something was scaring him and making him back off.

I opened the sliding glass door and went out slowly, expecting to see some big stray cat or dog ready to attack. What I saw was something quite different.

It was only a 2 inch praying mantis with its colorful, frightfully angular wings spread out wide like a mantle over her. She looked ferocious and she was running full speed toward Snowy! They don’t often show their wings. It’s like their secret weapon and apparently it works well. Snowy turned tail and scurried into the house through the opened patio door!

Sometimes the angels act in a similar way, to be our secret weapons. A few years back, I was having a particularly hard time at work and I felt weakened. I looked up the scripture in Psalm 103:20 “Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.” I prayed they would go to my work ahead of me and help me there.

When I got to work, I went upstairs to the open loft where we did our painting. Around the edge was a three-foot wooden railing. I could see in the spirit a very large angel sitting comfortably on the corner. His wings spread out to each side along the edge of my work space. I felt protected and strong. This went on every day for several months until I moved to a new work location, where it seemed I didn’t need the added protection any more.

Every year my garden is visited by praying mantis so I’ve had plenty of opportunities to observe them, but only once did I see one spread its wings out like when it chased my cat across the patio.

Like the mantis, we don’t always go around showing off our stuff, but when it becomes necessary, we certainly have our secret weapons. One of them is the privilege to pray for the Lord to send angels. They are loosed in heaven and according to Hebrews 1:14 and Matthew 4:11 they minister to us and for us. Most of the time we don’t even know they’re there but they are strong to protect us and can back off danger.

A STORY OF HEALING AND FAITH

My heart thrilled when I received this unexpected message: “You prayed for me in 1979, when I was pregnant with my oldest daughter. I had health issues which caused me to fear that I would lose her.”

Soon after this incident, I was sent to a different city and lost contact. I never heard the results of my prayer until 34 years later! The message went on to say, “You said you saw a clear, healthy embryo. Today, she is 33, the mother of two.” Wow, what at blessing! So often we don’t hear back what God did for the people we prayed for, or ministered healing to. So how do we know if it worked or not?

I remember when I was living in South Africa and prayed for Sammy. I laid hands on him and prayed his kidney stones would be dissolved. He ended up in the hospital with appendicitis!

That bothered me for years. I wondered why I didn’t get it right. When I ministered to people after that, I seemed to always have this little doubt coming up, wondering if I really got it right. One day the Holy Spirit stopped me from doubting and gave me the answer.

The Lord explained to me, “When you prayed for Sammy, I dissolved the kidney stones instantly. He did have them. You didn’t get it wrong. There was just more, that’s all, and he got that taken care of in the hospital.” Wow, what a simple answer and it set me free! I’ve never doubted myself in this category since.

The answer is simple: When we pray or minister in faith, from our hearts, and do the best we know how, then we can be assured that it works. Healing is always God’s will.

In the Old Testament, “For I am the Lord that healeth [is healing] thee” (Ex 15: 26). And in the Gospels, “Jesus went about healing every sickness and every disease among the people” (Matt 9: 35) and Jesus said, “they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (Mk 16:18).

In the Epistles, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth [is prospering]” (3 John 2) and “the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him (James 5:15).

There are hundreds of scriptures about healing and many that address specific ailments. We need to look them up, meditate on them and believe. And if our faith is small now in some categories, be assured, with persistence, it will grow.

Paul wrote about the Christians in Thessalonica, “Your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing” (2 Thess 1:3). Be like the Thessalonians.

No matter how old or young you are, don’t ever doubt yourself when it comes to praying or ministering healing to others. Even if you don’t hear the good results right away, trust God that He has given you the heart of His love and that when you pray or minister, it does work!

Love, Carolyn

WHY EASTER? - ACCEPTING CHRIST AS SAVIOR AND LORD

Romans 6:23 says, “The wages [payment] of sin is death.” This is not a “maybe.” It is absolute truth. The consequences of sin come in the form of immediate death or in various partial deaths—body parts not working right, various sicknesses and diseases, accidents, bad relationships, etc.

God knew that once sin got started, the results would be passed from generation to generation, no matter how good a person tries to be. Sin destroys people. So God gave them a different way to pay for sin.

They could substitute a personal sacrifice, paying with something very dear to them and the sin would be covered for a certain period of time. In Old Testament times they sacrificed sheep, wheat, barley, doves and other things that were precious to them and valuable. This quickly got perverted in many cultures to sacrificing babies and virgins (the purest and most precious), which of course is the exact opposite of what God wanted.

God’s ultimate plan was to give His own son Jesus to mankind, trusting that Jesus would escape death and hell by never committing any sin.

When you accept Jesus into your heart and life you have the most valuable and precious treasure imaginable, greater than anything else in all God’s creation.

And when it comes to giving up your most valuable treasure as a payment for sin, you didn’t even have to think about it, because Jesus already did it. He gave His life for all our sins because He loved us. And by the way, He knew what he was getting when He got us, our broken miserable selves with all our problems, but He did it anyway!

Jesus was a perfect man and He was the payment for all mankind’s sins. But instead of having to remain dead or in hell, God raised Him from the dead as victorious over everything bad. When we believe in Him, He’s willing to be our Lord. Could you get any better than that? No.

If you don’t know Jesus Christ and you want to, then say with your mouth, “Jesus You’re my Lord, and I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead, free and victorious over everything.” (Rom 10:9-10).

Jesus Christ comes into your heart and all the old sin is washed out. You become a new person with the seed of Christ in you to stay. And that seed in you rejects sin. So when you slip up (and we all do), God says just admit it, say you’re sorry and you’re forgiven. Jesus as your Lord will get you the deliverance you need if you’ll only let Him. You can stop making payments for your sins right now. Receive and claim your perfect health in Jesus’ name and your forgiveness from sin.

Jesus paid it all. He died for everything about you and He is alive to lead you and take care of you. You can live free in the goodness of God’s plan for your victorious life now and forever.

JESUS: BLOODSHED 7 TIMES FOR 7 ASPECTS OF OUR LIVES

If you have problems in any of these 7 areas of your life, get ready to be blessed, because you are about to be delivered.

Jesus first bled in the garden of Gethsemane when he was stressing over doing God’s will or His own. He chose God’s will but he sweated blood over it. Because of this, we can choose God’s will over our own, without sweating blood. (Luke 22:41).

Secondly Jesus bled when His body was torn apart by the whipping and beating from the Roman soldiers. He shed blood in this way so that all the things wrong with our physical bodies could be erased and fixed.

The third place Jesus bled was internally. The Bible says, “He was bruised” (Is 53:5). That’s an internal thing and it was so that any deep emotional or spiritually-induced hurts, including evil spirits could be vanished from our lives.

The fourth blood shed was from the crown of thorns thrust into Jesus’ head. This was for eliminating any and all mental disorders and wrong thinking patterns.

Number five: Jesus bled from His hands. This puts the healing power on our hands and applies to anything we do with our hands. For instance we touch people and animals with our hands; we touch money with our hands; we make things; we hold things; we give things away; we fix things; we click the “like” buttons on our computers. Any inappropriate things we now do with our hands can be miraculously changed by believing in the blood Jesus shed from His hands for the cleansing and blessing of our hands. God promises in Deuteronomy 12:7, “Ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto.” And Mark 16:18 says, “They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

Number six is when Jesus bleed from His feet. This was for the paths we take in life. It means we can walk on the good paths He has for us and we don’t have to stumble along and get hurt on the wrong ones.

And lastly, number seven. He was speared through His belly, His lungs and His heart—making sure His life force bled out. Jesus gave up His entire life so we could receive a better life, an everlasting life with Him and God and angels and all the other beautiful things in Heaven.

If we need help in any of these parts of our lives, this is the time of year to get it. People around the world are looking to the cross of Jesus and His wonderful raising from the dead. This is not a time for sorrow but a time for receiving and rejoicing in what He gave us on the cross.
